A “CAB 414” 2-seater sofa, designed by Mario Bellini, produced by Cassina in the 1980s. One of the most iconic Italian postmodern seating pieces featuring Bellini’s signature saddle leather construction with a striking architectural silhouette and beautifully aged creme beige leather.
The model is so well known because of its open-stitched leather cover which is stretched over the steel structure. It creates a sculptural look and over time develops a rich and authentic patina that is characteristic of the CAB series. The set is in very good vintage condition with visible signs of age-related wear and a beautiful overall patina.
