„PK22“ lounge chair with original rattan upholstery, designed by Poul Kjaerholm, produced by E. Kold Christensen, Denmark. The chair, designed in 1956, was an immediate commercial success and got awarded the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale, the world’s premier design fair, in 1957. The prize catapulted Kjaerholm’s career and this design still remains as a fundamentally modern chair for design enthusiasts today.
This chair is an early production from E. Kold Christensen and is highly collectible.
