Foldable rocking chair designed by Takeshi Nii in the late 1950s. It features a black leather upholstery and an aluminum frame on wooden sleds. The option to fold makes it very easy to store and transport. This folding chair which won numerous awards and later became a permanent feature at MOMA in 1970. Good original condition with natural patina and minor traces of age (see pictures). Folding system is fully functional.
